Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Sales and Tender Officer to join our team at StarTech Multimedia Ltd. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, preparing competitive tender documents, and driving sales to support the company’s growth. This role involves market research, client engagement, proposal writing, and collaboration with various departments to meet revenue targets. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate tender opportunities in public and private sectors.
- Prepare and submit competitive tender proposals in line with client specifications and deadlines.
- Drive business development efforts by generating leads and pursuing new sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support customer retention and satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals in alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, finance, admin) to ensure accurate and compelling proposals.
- Maintain records and generate reports on tenders, sales performance, and market insights.
Qualifications/Requirements
- HND/Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1+ years) in sales, business development, or tender/proposal writing.
- Strong understanding of tender processes and proposal development, especially in public procurement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM or proposal tools is a plus.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
- Knowledge of multimedia, branding, or IT services is an added advantage.
